Solar Panels
How does Solar PV Grid connect work?
The sun sends over 970 trillion kilowatt hours of energy down to earth every day – why should we ignore the chance to use this inexhaustible source of energy in a meaningful way?
With your very own solar power plant on your roof you can convert the energy generated into electricity, use it directly or feed it back to the Synergy network and receive compensation.
Trained technicians from Bunbury & Busselton Air will install a number of high quality, integrated solar panels to the roof of your home and integrate these into your home's energy metre.
The Technical Details about Solar Power
Solar panels are made of semiconductor silicon and each panel contains a positive and negative charge, creating an electrical potential between the layers of the solar panel. When sunlight strikes the solar cells, the silicon begins conducting and DC voltage is generated the across the cells.
Your solar cells are fitted with an Inverter, which is designed to convert the DC Voltage into useable 240 volt AC electricity, therefore allowing the generated electricity to be used within your home. To make use of any excess energy generated by your solar system, your system can be connected to an export metre which measures any energy fed into the public energy grid in kilowatt hours (KWh). You are then compensated by Synergy for any electricity fed into the public grid.
